Tom, the absent soap star

This is my first attempt at creating a domestic setting that hopefully creates a vivid image of the absent person. What do you think?

6.1 – A heart-throb in a television soap:

Facing the top of the large, open plan staircase is the ‘room of memories’, as Tom calls it, where in a crystal cabinet that stretches along two walls of the 30ft x 30ft white room are accolades and framed memorabilia from 15 years as the bad boy of TV. Amongst numerous TV awards are signed photos of famous co-stars, and his framed press clippings and cover model appearances for Men’s magazines. But, pride of place goes to his ultimate achievement, the BAFTA award for best soap actor 2013. They say that money doesn’t bring happiness, but Tom would whole-heartedly disagree, for the man of the moment has fame, fortune, fast cars, and even faster women.

About Sean

I live in my own thoughts, chat to imaginary friends, and survive primarily on Snickers and Nescafe. I work full-time and study part-time for a BA in English Literature with the OU. Home is the North West of England, and my heroes are those authors that can make miracles out of paper and words…… “The man who does not read has no advantage over the man who cannot read.” – Mark Twain.
